NSTE is thrilled to bring you a conversation* between Rabbi Lawrence Hoffman and Dr. Diana Butler Bass, in which they strive, in dialogue with one another, to make sense of a pandemic stricken world. Where can holiness be found in such a time? Can God transcend the Zoom screen? Our program will be preceded by Havdalah and followed by Q&A with Rabbi Hoffman “Zooming” to us from the USA. Following the Q&A, our team of sh’lichei tzibbur and choristers will lead a moving and melodic Selichot service, culminating with the sounding of shofar.
