Tikkun Leil Shavuot - Repairing the world with ancient Jewish agriculture - Saturday 4 June 2022 - 6:30PM

Saturday, 4 June, 2022 5 Sivan 5782

6:30 PM - 9:00 PMFrank Wolf Community Hall

Join us on Saturday 4 June for an exciting Tikkun Leil Shavuot program exploring Jewish approaches to agriculture and environmentalism!

Mitch Burnie, Manager of Adamama Farm in Randwick will be joining us to discuss the unique learnings and skills from ancient Jewish agriculture that remain practical and useful today. He will also explore what Shmita can teach us about the path to more regenerative practices and a more balanced society.

We'll also hear from other members of our NSTE community and take part in Torah study to inspire us to be the shomrei adamah (keepers of the earth) our planet needs us to be.

The evening will start at 6.30pm with a service (including Yizkor) led by Rabbi Misha and our NSTE Choir. We'll then enjoy some light food and our Tikkun Leil Shavuot program in the Frank Wolf Community Hall.

We'll also once again host our Shavuot cheesecake taste-off! Everyone is invited to bring along a cheesecake (or cheesecake-adjacent treat) to share.

Please register below and let us know if you're bringing a cheesecake!

Please note that the service will be livestreamed, however the remainder of the program will not.
