This biographical movie is based on the tragic, but ultimately triumphant life of David Helfgott, a child prodigy pianist, and the turbulent relationship with his father.  Geoffrey Rush, who brilliantly portrays the later stages of Helfgott's life, won an Oscar for the role.  The music in the movie is beautiful, with the “hand double” pianist in this film, none other than the prodigious Simon Tedeschi.  Enjoy!
