Route: We will be walking along The Esplanade, circumventing Balmoral Park at the
other end and returning via the back streets for some local history. We usually stop
for a coffee and schmooze for those who have time.

Bring: Opal card if needed for public transport, wear comfortable walking shoes,
bring a hat and apply sunscreen, bring wet weather gear (in case of light showers).
In case of heavy rain, the walk will be postponed. There is meter parking along the
streets, but some side streets have unmetered zones.

The Boomers’ Walking Group is for the benefit of NSTE members and their partners. Friends are welcome if places become available and will be put on a waiting list.

This walk is designed for fit Seniors who can manage both track and sealed pathways, at a reasonable pace, with no walking aids. If you are likely to be slow or need help, it is recommended you come with a friend who can accompany you.
