The Film Group invites all movie lovers to join us at 5.30 pm on Sunday 28th February, 2021 for a ZOOM discussion of our next film, “The Insult.” 
This is a wonderful legal drama, made in 2017 and takes place in Lebanon. It’s about a conflict between a Lebanese Christian and a Palestinian Muslim, a story which reflects aspects of the Lebanese Civil War (indirectly also referencing Ariel Sharon). The film won a best actor award at the Venice Film Festival. David Stratton has described it as “superbly acted by all concerned — provocative and inclusive.”
