Circle of Benefactors is a group of members who have generously chosen to pay double membership fees to enable families, who cannot afford full fees, to be subsidised.

Event Sponsorship
From time to time opportunities arise for companies or individuals to sponsor events and gain exposure.

Jeff Sharp Fund
The objectives of this fund is to ensure that:

  • no person is prevented from affiliating with NSTE due to financial constraints;

  • no adult or child is prevented from gaining a Jewish education due to financial constraints;

  • no person is prevented from participating in Jewish communal or religious activities due to financial constraints;

  • the community is built up through offering NSTE’s facilities to all members irrespective of financial limitation..

Jensen Foundation for Jewish Continuity

Together with the Jensen family, NSTE is calling upon present and past members to commit themselves to perpetuating Hans Jensen’s life work so that an impressive array of programs and services can be (and are being) provided for you, your children and your grandchildren. Initiative such as: Scholar in Residence Program; Shabbatonim (Retreats); NSTE Night School; The Jensen Leadership Panel; Cultural Events and Guest Speakers; Scholarships for continued Adult Jewish Learning; Outreach to Young Adults (22-35).

Donations and Bequests Form.

Donations and Bequests. NSTE is privately administered and is not supported by taxes or State contributions for its social, cultural and provision of the various needs in the community. NSTE requires continuous additions to its income.

School Building Fund
is a tax-deductible fund whose monies can be used to purchase, improve or maintain any buildings or associated areas for school use.

Temple Benevolent Association
is a tax-deductible fund whose monies can be used to defray costs of benevolent work carried out by the rabbis or cantor and the administrative support required.

Tree of Life (Life cycle events)
To celebrate special occasions such as birth of a child, b’mitzvah, special birthdays or anniversaries buy a leaf on our Tree of Life in the foyer and have it displayed in perpetuity

Yahrtzeit Board (Life cycle events)
To commemorate the memory of a loved one, have their name entered on the Yahrtzeit board. The name will be lit up during the week of each yahrtzeit and when Yizkor is commemorated/recited????
