Music/choir

Our volunteer choir beautifies services on many Shabbat mornings, festivals and on the High Holy Days. Talented teens through to singing seniors blend in harmonies ranging from centuries old classics to contemporary compositions.

The choir also features in concerts, communal events, CDs, recordings and other community events.

The vocal quartet ZIMRA provides a different musical slant on some Shabbat mornings, singing contemporary liturgical settings. On occasion, “Shabbat Groove” swings into action during the Erev Shabbat service. This is a contemporary service when the choir is accompanied by a band.

If you would like to become involved in the choir, please contact Music Director, Judy Campbell. judycam@maju.com
