Vision
To foster Jewish continuity through engagement with the arts, the arts being a powerful player in the shaping of identity.
Jewish Arts encourages and facilitates the creation and delivery of, and increases access to, arts experiences in a Jewish context.
Specific objectives are:
- to inspire and entertain with high quality Jewish arts presentations across a variety of art forms
- to offer opportunities to participate in the arts in a Jewish context to support and nurture practitioners of Jewish arts
- to provide innovative artistic pathways to explore what it means to be Jewish today
- to promote cross-denominational unity, particularly on the North Shore of Sydney
The financial strategy to support the pursuit of the above goals is to steadily build an endowment fund that will ultimately support the program into the future through the annual income accumulated. Other sources of funding, such as grants and individual donations, are sought along the way to facilitate the delivery of the program.
