Bar and Bat Mitzvah Studies

In preparing for Bar and Bat Mitzvah, students build a foundation of understanding in Jewish history, values, religious observance and liturgical Hebrew. We offer the same preparation and opportunities, and hold the same expectations, for both boys and girls. Preparation for Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies is both intellectually challenging and spiritually rewarding. Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrants must be enrolled in Meah or attend a Jewish Day School or an alternative arrangement must be made with the Rabbi.

It is a requirement that the families of prospective B'nei Mitzvah students must be members of the congregation.
